Seminole County Regional Science, Math, and Engineering Fair
[Each school is required to supply at least one chaperone per 10 students participating per shift (Day is divided between shifts). One chaperone may stay multiple shifts, but chaperones will have duties and will not be able to just stay by their own child the whole time. Teacher chaperones are requested, but parent chaperones are allowed if not enough teachers volunteer. Administrators and teachers are encouraged to stop by to view and congratulate students.]

Awards Ceremony, 6:30pm @ Millennium Middle School Auditorium
SATURDAY, FEB 7, 2026
The fair will be at Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary. You will need to arrive between 7:45-8:00 AM, and you will be dismissed at 3:00 (MS) or 3:30 (HS).
Please take note of student/family parking lot locations. Families may drop off their student and project in the designated areas, then park and walk if they would like to stay for part/all of the fair event!

Display and Safety Review and Certification 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
After you set up your project display (poster/board and accompanying materials), it will be reviewed and certified by D&S Inspectors. Any rule violations MUST be fixed so the D&S team can certify your project by 9:30. Review the Display and Safety rules HERE and preview the checklist HERE.
Morning Judging 10:00 AM - 11:45 AM
Judges will visit your project for about 8-10 minutes. During that time, you should give your planned 2-3 minute presentation, and they will ask you questions.
Lunch 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM
You may preorder a box lunch through MySchoolBucks (ORDER coming soon) or you may bring a bag lunch. Preorder lunches will be available for pickup in the cafeteria. If you have extra time, feel free to check out the STEM labs and tables around campus between 12:00 - 12:45, but you MUST be back at your project a few minutes before 1:00 so you are ready when judging resumes!
Afternoon Judging 1:00 PM - 3:00/3:30 PM
Tiebreakers and special award judging. Please remember that not all projects are eligible for donated special awards, based on their individual award criteria. You may or may not have visits from judges in the afternoon for this reason. MS students are dismissed at 2:30 PM, and HS students at 3:30 PM.
WEDNESDAY, FEB 11, 2026
The fair awards will be at Millennium Middle School. Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
You will be invited in advance if you are selected to receive an award, though which award(s) are always kept secret until they are announced at the ceremony.
If you are unable to attend the ceremony, award certificates, ribbons, and nomination packets will be sent to awardees' schools in the few days following the ceremony.
