Category Judges arrive at the Judges Room for light refreshments, check-in, and an orientation by their Judging Captain.
10:00 - 11:45 AM
Category Judging
Plan to spend 8-10 minutes with each project. The student should give a 2-3 minute presentation, then you should ask interview questions for them to answer.
Please visit the Elementary Exhibition in the gym to talk with the designated number of students before returning to the Judges Room.
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Category Judges deliberate and determine place awards; a boxed lunch will be provided.
Please report all 1st place rankings and additional State nominations by 12:00 PM. The remaining place award distribution is due by 12:45 PM.
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Visit second set of projects; submit project feedback to student volunteers.
THE WEEK BEFORE THE FAIR
The fair director will provide you with a list of project titles and a link to the online folder of abstracts.
Preview projects to determine and prioritize your list of projects to visit.

Special Awards Judging
Please plan to spend 8-10 minutes with each project, allowing them to give their 2-3 min project overview and answer your interview questions.
You are welcome to visit the Elementary Exhibition in the gym, though they are not eligible for awards.
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Special Awards Judges deliberate and determine awardees after finishing all desired judging interviews.
Please report final awards list by 4:00 PM
