Can I change my course selection after I submit my Registration Card?
Yes, there will be an opportunity to change a course selection. We will post a link on the registration website in March.
Is Seminole Connect an option for the 2021-22 School Year?
This has not been determined by the Florida Department of Education or the Seminole County Public School district yet.
Can a freshman take a few courses through SCVS/FLVS? If so, are they obligated to do so on campus?
A student may take one Seminole County Virtual School class in our lab on campus. If more are requested, additional virtual classes can be taken from home.
Who takes AP courses?
Anyone can take AP courses.
Can you request your teacher?
NO.
How does a student guarantee that they get the first 3 electives they selected?
There are no guarantees! STUDENTS: Please select courses that interest you and submit alternatives just in case you don’t get your first options.
If a student missed an EOC, can they make this up before graduation?
Yes, retakes are scheduled throughout the year.
How can I take a virtual course over the summer?
Please speak with your Middle School Counselor
Do I need my current teachers’ signature?
Teacher signatures are preferred but are not mandatory.
When can I start volunteering and earning community service hours?
The summer before you enter the 9th Grade.
