Dear Milwee Spartan:

The mission of Milwee Middle School Pre-Engineering Magnet is to capture and inspire students by improving our teaching techniques to ensure that all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world, and then reach their full potential as lifelong learners and productive citizens.

The courses listed in this Curriculum Guide are designed to offer Milwee Middle School students the best possible educational experience. The core academic courses as well as the Intensive Math and Intensive Reading courses mirror what is being offered across the district in all middle schools. What sets Milwee apart are the SCPS Pre-IB Prep and Pre-Engineering courses designed to challenge our students and provide hands-on project based activities that will prepare them for life after Milwee.

The contents of this Curriculum Guide will be very helpful as you plan your course of study at Milwee. The guide provides an overview of all courses offered including information on clubs and sports programs. It is your future and there is no time like the present to make an investment in ensuring that it will be a great one.

We are the Spartans.....Engineering your Future!
