2024 Boy's and Girl's Track
Track (Boys and Girls)
First Practice January 9th
Please have all payment and forms filled out before first practice
This is a no cut sport. Any student that signs up is on the team.
To sign up, just submit payment on My School Bucks (link is below) they will need the following completed and turned into Ms. Boles at the front office, before the first scheduled meet.

Practices will be Tue/Thursday from Dismissal till 5:20 PM. Please be at the school by 5:30 for pick up. Activity buses will be available.
These are the events we compete in for each grade. (6th, 7th, 8th) 1 mile, Shot put, Long Jump, 50M, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 4x100M relay, 4x400M Relay.
Each participant once paid will receive a Markham Woods Track t-shirt for competition. (which they will keep after season)
The team will take the team bus to the Meets. (All meets are off campus) That bus arrives around 4:00 PM. Players do not have to take the bus back. They may go home with parent/guardian.
Before you leave the student needs to tell the coach they are leaving, and the parent/guardian needs to acknowledge they are taking them. If any student is left unchecked the coaches, then have to search the area looking for them and notifying authorities we have a missing student. This is a huge hassle. Please be sure to check your student out.
