Senior Gear, Cap & Gown pick-up
The pick-up date for caps and gowns is on May 27, 2026 beginning at 10:30 AM in the Quad. If you the cap and gown pick up, you may pick them up in the Student Store beginning Monday morning, June 1st, at 8:00 AM prior to rehearsal. If we receive the shipment of caps and gowns earlier, we may schedule an earlier date to distribute them.
Mandatory Grad Rehearsal-Monday, June 1, 2026 at 10 AM - 11 AM
Seniors should report to the gym at 10:00am for orientation and graduation practice. Student name pronunciation and correct names will be checked for the graduation ceremony. Line up order will be assigned by alphabetical order. BRING CAP & GOWN to Monday Rehearsal.
Mandatory Grad Rehearsal- Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 9:30am
Seniors should report to the gym at 9:30 am for orientation and graduation practice. Line up order will be practiced, followed by a full graduation walkthrough. To receive their graduation tickets, Seniors must have completed their Senior Survey and completed the full rehearsal that morning. Graduation tickets will be distributed at the end of the rehearsal on June 3, 2026. Students must be present to get tickets. The number of graduation tickets available for each student will be a standard allotment of 7 tickets. Any tickets available beyond the standard allotment will be available to students only by using their PBIS Rewards Points to acquire them on the PBIS Rewards Store. The number of points needed to get extra tickets will be determined at a later date, but students should be saving their PBIS Rewards Points during the school year to be able to acquire these extra tickets. The availability of extra tickets is not guaranteed. We will distribute tickets to all students based on the number of enrolled seniors and deterimine the standard allotment by the total capacity of the stadium and the number of graduates. We will adjust the standard allotment so that each graduating senior is given an equal number through the standard distribution. In the event that the capacity of the stadium and the number of students are equally divisible, there is a rare chance that no extra tickets will be available.

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
Thursday, June 4, 2026- Commencement Ceremony
Commencement will be held at 6 pm in the THHS Stadium. Admission will be by ticket only.
As a reminder, graduates will be reporting to the gym at 5 pm to line up for the ceremony. They should be dressed in cap and gown. (No spike heels on the stadium turf.) Graduates will not be allowed to bring cell phones, purses, cameras, leis, etc. into the ceremony. Only school-sponsored and approved sashes and cords are allowed to be worn with the cap and gown. Plan on a meeting place with your parents prior to arriving for Graduation. Leave your phone, purse, cameras, etc with your parents for after the ceremony. Leis purchased from the Instrumental Music Boosters will be allowed to be worn in the ceremony.
Important: Seniors will be searched prior to marching into the stadium. Leave all personal belongings at home (i.e. sunglasses, purses, cell phones, keys, and cameras). Because students will not have access to their phones during the ceremony, plan on a meeting spot with family for when the ceremony concludes.
Guidelines: Closed toe shoes highly recommended, long pants, shirts w/ collar, skirts or dresses, and no flip-flops. Do not wear stiletto high heels that will sink into the turf. As a general suggestion, the heel of any shoe can be a wedge or the diameter of the heel base is larger than the size of a U.S. half-dollar coin.
Guidelines: Seniors are permitted to decorate their caps. All decorations should be school-appropriate, acknowledging the solemnity of the graduation ceremony. Inappropriate caps will be checked and replaced with a plain cap.
CORDS AND SASHES
Guidelines: Only school sponsored groups and government agencies with the approval from administration can wear cords or sashes. No novelty (money, candy, etc) regalia will be allowed to be worn during the ceremony. Flower leis are regarded as cultural regalia and are permitted if purchased from the band boosters.
INFORMATION FOR GUESTS
Guest Arrival- Gates to the stadium will be open at 5 p.m. If you plan to arrive early, you may use a personal umbrella for shade until the ceremony starts. Water and drinks will be available for purchase. To enter, you must have a ticket. Tickets are being distributed to the graduates after graduation practice on June 3rd.
Parking- Available on campus beginning at 3:30 p.m. on June 4th. The parking spots in front of the 800 building are reserved for the Board members, PTSA auction winners, and dignitaries. Please feel free to park in or on the parking structure and any lots on the campus, or along Mustang Run. We encourage you to carpool; parking is limited.
Seating- There is no assigned seating for the ceremony. You are welcome to bring a “bleacher seat” as our bleachers do not have back rests. Please do not bring ice chests, chairs, E-Z Ups, megaphones, or noisemakers, as we have close to 600 students graduating and our stands will be filled to capacity. As a courtesy to all guests, umbrellas, balloons, large signs, or large flower arrangements that could obstruct the view of the graduates on the field should be left in your vehicle.
Handicap Accessible Seating and parking- We have limited handicap accessible seating available on both sides of the stadium. Each handicapped person is able to have one guest sit with them in a chair that will be provided. If the parking lot is full and you need a handicap seat in the stadium, please tell a parking attendant and you will be allowed drop off access in front of the stadium. We cannot guarantee handicap parking; only drop off access after the lot is full.
A graduation photographer has been booked to take pictures of seniors as they receive their diplomas. These photos will be made available directly to parents by mail or e-mail notification after the commencement.
More details on the livestream of the ceremony to come.
Diplomas and will be available for pick-up immediately after the ceremony on the track of the field.
