Welcome to an exciting year of 7th Grade World History. We will be focusing on the Middle Ages and visiting many amazing cultures throughout Medieval World History. My name is Kerry Nahas and I grew up and attended schools in the Saddleback Valley School District. I attended San Diego State University and majored in Criminal Justice (perfect for middle school right!) just kidding along with a minor in history and in English. I have a Master's Degree in Education and Reading. I taught for 6 years in Huntington Beach at Dwyer Middle School 8th grade U.S. History, Language Arts, A.V.I.D. I have taught at RSM since 2006 and I love being a Roadrunner!
I have 2 boys- a 9th grader and an 10th grader. We love to travel, go to the beach, surf, read and swim. I love teaching middle schoolers- they have the best sense of humor and love to have fun! 7th grade can be quite challenging and a big change for some students but I hope you know that your teachers and staff at RSM are here to support you on your road to success! Keep organized, ask questions and never stop learning! I am so excited to get to know you all please feel free to share any pictures of your adventures around the world!
