We are happy to partner with scouting troops and local students in Orange County looking to earn community service hours. Many students from Saddleback Valley Unified School District and our other local districts may have visited Trabuco Field Study before and just might love the opportunity to give back!
Our program serves almost 9,000 students per year and with that comes many consumable items that need to be created each year. We are always looking for students who might be interesting in preparing simple crafts such as our UV Light Flowers, Chicken In a Cup project, bookmarks, and a variety of other small tasks.
Volunteer projects are easy enough for elementary through high school students to participate.

Eagle Scout project on our farm.
We are so lucky to have Trabuco Elementary Farm on site! As a working farm with a variety of animals, we are always in need of assistance to keep our farm in the best working condition we can. Our school farmer would love to partner with troops or individuals who may be looking to earn they Eagle Scout or Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award for Girl Scouts. We welcome your ideas, but here are some suggestions:
Updating shelters
Modernizing tool sheds and chicken coop
Sustainable composting for our school garden
And more...
We are happy to put you in contact with Farmer Darcie to brighten up our wonderful farm and keep it an excellent learning space and home for our animals.
