Music Summer Camp

Through a partnership with Bertrand’s Music, this summer, SVUSD will offer a free two-week music camp to all current and incoming intermediate students that are interested. The purpose of the camp is to increase access to, and interest in, instrumental music which has been adversely impacted by the pandemic. Bertrand’s Music will assist in providing instruments and providing curricular support.

The program will be offered at Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School, Monday through Thursday, June 21 - July 1, and Monday through Thursday, July 26 - August 5 at Los Alisos Intermediate School. The camps are available to students with all levels of expertise, and SVUSD Intermediate Music Directors and program coaches will facilitate instruction. Camp time will include sectional, solo, and full ensemble rehearsals, and each camp may culminate with a short performance showcasing the students’ progress.
