Our Goal

Though our firm caters to all challenging design requirements, our goal is to expand and progress with projects that foster our design philosophy

* Client satisfaction: We engage ourselves actively with the client ahead of design development to determine the utilities in a priority order and develop the form based on the similar order. Beyond our design interests and philosophy we thrive to fulfil all the original requirements of the client as we see it as our primary commitment to our work

* Knowledge sharing: We believe in sharing our knowledge base on resources, market, materials, construction technologies etc., to help our client make informed decisions

* Eco conscious designs: As a firm we would like to promote and engage in projects that are environmentally friendly with lesser greenhouse effect and lesser carbon footprint

* Inclusive Architecture: Historically architecture was partly or wholly about planning and designing of a city with an inclusive vision, - the objective was to build a civilisation to advance art and learning with a socially active community. It is in our dream and vision to contribute at any and all possible scale to uphold the idea of inclusive architecture in our projects for overall well being

Our Design Outlook

Modern, Minimalism, Contemporary and Vernacular

- Minimalism, Modern and Contemporary

We adherently advocate minimalism, since in a minimalistic design every element present within the design space has a purpose, orientation and contribution to the overall vision. Any other clutter is simply taken out of space, leaving only with a very efficient and effective design

“Simplicity, clarity, singleness: These are the attributes that give our lives power and vividness and joy as they are also the marks of great art.” — Richard Holloway

Our contemporary design idea derives a major inspiration from the modern era. The modern era evolved in the early 20th century, completely refreshing from the elaborate renaissances and Victorian design. The modern era simplified the design, adopted lighter construction materials and faster construction methods - to pay more attention to the utilities in an innovative way

- Vernacular

Indian architecture with extensive styles, evolved over a period of several thousand years. Buildings structures like temples and dwellings that are built with mostly regional resources for local climate conditions have provided us with a rich heritage and knowledge in the art of building construction that are far advanced for its time in construction technology, thermal comfort, water systems and sustainability. Traditional Chettinad and Kerala houses with central open air court were designed to deplete tropical hot air and tap cool air for the indoors. Also the open court is a nostalgic place to the native south where they welcome the sun and celebrate the monsoon from their indoors

Our design philosophy

Minimalism, Futuristic, Efficient - effective space management, Co-existence, Environment sensitive, Sustainability and Green conscious

* In our designs, ornamental details are avoided and the necessities are thoughtfully kept with simple and engaging designs, ascending to the primary vision of the project

* Inclusion of smart technology in design thought and provisions for future potentials are part of our futuristic design efforts

* Walls, openings and shades are designed considering sun, shadows and wind movements for better indoor thermal comfort

* In a tight urban space planning, space is spent economically but thoughtfully to balance form and utility. Where space is adequate, we set to develop space as an experience to inspire and orient the entrant towards the vision behind the building, which we believe is the ultimate goal of architecture

* We try our best to promote and adapt construction techniques that are helpful in conservation of natural environments like earth, water and greenery . We explore and incorporate all feasible construction techniques in preserving resource and energy in the course of construction like choice of materials (with less embodied energy), best use of natural light and ventilation to conserve energy, water harvesting, domestic biogas solutions, waste management, water recycling etc
