About our host

Riya is a passionate student of history and an advocate for women's rights. She has conducted research to increase representation of women throughout history at the New-York Historical Society as a Tech Scholar and Teen Leader Intern. She has also been Captain of her high school's Varsity History Bowl team, leading her team to Nationals for the last 3 years. Riya is looking forward to continue studying history as she enters her senior year of high school!
