Mr. Lian

This is my ninth year teaching at Franklin Middle School and my 18th year in education. I’ve taught Geography, Minnesota History, middle school special education, and 3rd grade, with experience in both Minnesota and Arizona.

As a Thief River Falls graduate, I’m excited and grateful to be back home teaching in the community that helped shape me.

Outside of school, I’m blessed with an amazing family—my wife, Kayla, and our five boys: Kellen (12), Everett (11), Jackson (11), Beckett (8), and Declan (4).
