Farm City Poster Contest

due date:  TBA

2021 Farm City Poster Contest

On Thursday, Sept. 9, your child was given information about the annual Russell County Farm City Poster contest.

3rd Grade participation is required.

This will count as an at-home Major grade for Science.

The deadline is over a month away so please pace yourself on this project.  We always have winners from LES and look forward to having some more this year!

The poster is due by Tuesday, October 12th.   The paper says October 14th, but we need time to grade them and get them turned in to the Farm City Chairman.  I will accept posters early so students can turn them in whenever they finish.  Please make sure the them is clearly stated on the poster (see contest rules).

**Please make sure the COMPLETED student information paper is attached on the back of the poster.  This is how Farm City will reach out to the winners.**

The grading rubric is included in the packet of information coming home with your student today.  I am also attaching the contest information to this email.  There will be a -10 points deduction for each day late, and posters will not be accepted after 3 days late.

Click here to see some posters from past winners.

Get creative and good luck!  I can't wait to see all that is turned in.  : )
