Asalamu Alaikum wr wb  Dear Parents

I hope you all had a wonderful summer. I am pleased to welcome all of the students back to a successful school year insha’ Allah.

My name is Hina Zafar, and I am truly honored to have the opportunity to be your child’s teacher for 2025-26 school year. I have a Bachelor's degree in Science and I am an Ontario certified teacher; I did my Baccalaureate in Education (B.Ed) from the University of Ottawa with certification to teach from JK to Grade 6 (Primary / Junior). Furthermore, I have completed additional qualification in Mathematics from Queen's University. 

It is a privilege to guide and nurture the next generation of Muslims, and I look forward to working with you to create a positive and enriching learning experience for your child.

With over 12 years of teaching experience, teaching is not a profession but a passion for me, especially when it comes to nurturing young minds in line with Islamic values. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and it is my responsibility to help them unlock their full potential while instilling in them the values of knowledge, respect, and compassion. I view my role as not only educating academically but also helping your child develop into a confident, kind, and responsible individual who contributes positively to society.

I also believe deeply in the importance of parent-teacher communication. Just as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized the significance of collaboration and supporting one another in all endeavors, I value our partnership in your child’s education. Your involvement and support are crucial to ensuring that your child thrives in both their academic and personal growth.

As we start moving forward in our learning journey, I will need your continued support and cooperation for a seamless transition into new learning. Together, we can ensure that your child thrives and has the most successful rest of the school year.
