SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! Our kick off date is Monday, March 3, 2025. Again, this is an opportunity to connect with your child over the thrill of bringing new books to dive into again and again.
Studies have proven that children read more when they choose books for themselves. A love for independent reading boosts academic success. Children who read more frequently also report improved mental health!

IT'S A BOOK BUFFET!
Think book report, but make it fun and creative. Ms. Webb's Third grade class had a Book Buffet.
The Book Buffet project invites students to creatively “serve up” their book reports as if they were a delicious buffet, blending different food elements to represent the key components of the book.
Each report is visually designed like a meal, with clear sections that combine both literary analysis and creative presentation, encouraging students to engage with their books in a unique and enjoyable way.
We've also included the movie trailer for our 3rd grade superstars in their pictorial tour!
The senior class is hosting a basketball tournament fundraiser on March 29, 2025 at 7:00pm in the OAA gym. Please see details on the flier.
We are excited to share a valuable opportunity for you to invest in your child’s future through an Education Savings Account (ESA) with the Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund. This program is designed to empower families by providing additional resources for their child’s educational journey.
To learn more about this program and its benefits, we encourage you to access the button below.
The application period is now open through April 7, 2025.
