Women in Facilities Management is an Employee Resource Group, established by the New York City Department of Education, Division of School Facilities, created to offer a path for women to enter and advance in management by identifying networking, support and information which can lead to personal fulfillment and successful careers.
Our vision is to support the advancement of more women into leadership positions in management in the Department of Education.
The Women in Facilities Management Employee Resource Group provides professional and personal development growth opportunities, encourages improved communication skills, networking and access to senior leadership, provides a safe environment for sharing and feedback, and creates resources that can be utilized to help solve problems and provide greater customer service to students and schools.
