As a focus of our Strategic Plan, NCSD is committed to improving high school graduation rates with intentional planning and collaboration between students, parents, and schools. NCSD is dedicated to preparing all students for their next steps after graduation, whether that is attending a college or university, entering the workforce, attending a trade school, joining the military, or pursuing another opportunity.
Targeted efforts continue at each of the high schools to ensure all students have an individualized graduation plan, which allows for direct connection between students, families, and school counselors as they develop a course of study to ensure each student is provided opportunities to explore their interests, achieve academic success, and be prepared for graduation. Additionally, collaborative measures continue towards the access and opportunity to take a variety of courses and programs, as well as creating efficiencies for programs or course offerings in specialty areas (advanced, fine & performing arts, dual language immersion, foreign languages, nursing, welding, science courses, etc.).
NCSD is committed to working with all stakeholders to create learning systems in which all students can succeed in school, prepare for graduation, and ultimately become valuable, contributing members of our society. Congratulations, graduates! We wish you continued success.
