NCSD students who are employed or plan to be employed can enroll in the Work Experience Program and earn elective credits.
The Work Experience Program provides a realistic experience with appropriate work habits and attitudes, helps determine suitability for careers, and enables students to gain insight about future occupations.
Credits are awarded based on hours worked. Working 60 hours will earn .5 credit and working 120 hours will earn 1 full elective credit. NCSD Students are also required to be enrolled in the work experience class and maintain a passing grade.
