The Wyoming Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights Coordinator, 2300 Capitol Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82002-0050 or 307-777-7673 began serving students in 1997 in Casper, Wyoming, with a 7th-9th grade enrollment of only 25 students, then called Fort Caspar Academy Middle School. In 2000-2001, we officially became Casper Classical Academy and moved into our own building. Since then, we have grown and offer grades 6 through 8. Our growth began in the 2006-2007 school year and incrementally increased each year. Our growth has been possible thanks to an open enrollment policy in Natrona County School District #1, which allows students from any part of the district to attend our school. As such, we have no specific, localized neighborhood community. Our district has also seen increased enrollment over the years.
