Teacher Information
The Casper Mountain Science Program aligns its curriculum with Wyoming State Standards to support classroom science instruction. Our place-based approach emphasizes inquiry, problem-solving, and the unique ecology of Wyoming and Casper Mountain. Students will work in small learning groups with our trained instructors and will ask questions, seek answers, draw conclusions, and present their findings.
CMSP is one of, if not the most, powerful tools in science education that NCSD #1 possesses. Each time the students attend CMSP they walk away with:
A new positive outlook on science
Learn new/more social skills
A closer relationship with nature and a deeper understanding on how they are connected to it.
A bonding experience with their peers and teachers
And an increase of confidence
