We are Mrs. Anzivino, Mrs. Rhinehart, and Mrs. Noel your school counselors.
We are excited to start a new school year with you all.
As school counselors we are here to help all students with issues that may be affecting their academics, personal/social interactions, and college/career readiness. We support students by facilitating small group and large group lessons and/or individual counseling. School counselors work with students on a variety of topics such as self-esteem, coping with grief, peer relationships, school motivation, character education, and mindfulness.
Hello NCCA Middle School Owls!
I am Mrs Rhinehart, the 7th grade counselor. I have been at NCCA since the school began in 2015 with a break in between then and now to be a stay at home mom. My husband and I have three children (Jordan, Maya, and Kobe) and a dog (Champ).
I will be teaching the SEL elective and the Career and College Readiness class, hosting Lunch Bunch this year in addition to small groups. These provide an opportunity for us to discuss topics and to socialize with your grade level. Feel free to drop in and talk!
I am here to help students with personal, social, and academic problems. Please feel free to reach out to me through Canvas or give me a call at 984-208-6682.
Hi! I'm Mrs Anzivio. I am so excited for another great year at NCCA! This will be my 8th year as a school counselor. Prior to NCCA, I was a school counselor for K-8th grade students. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Psychology from NC State and my Masters in Education in School Counseling from UNC-Chapel Hill. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, playing with my puppy, cooking, and being lazy :) I look forward to getting to know all of you this year!!
Hi! My name is Mrs. Noel. I have been a school counselor since 2016, and I absolutely LOVE my job! Prior to joining NCCA, I was an early college counselor for students in 9th- 12th grades. I attended Winston-Salem State University for my bachelor's degree, and I earned my master's degree from Capella University, while living abroad, in Europe.
My husband, David and I have 3 boys, Neiman, Nolan, and Nox. They keep us very busy. I enjoy traveling, eating good food, hiking, kick boxing, making memories, and going to the spa!
I am passionate about growing students! I believe all students can succeed! I believe my role as your school counselor is to build meaningful relationships with you all in order to individualize the way I support, advocate, collaborate, and communicate with each and every one of you. I can't wait to meet you!
I also look forward to getting to know the parents/guardians too. I believe it takes a village to truly support the child. Parents/guardians, please reach out to me at any time if you have questions or concerns. You can call or text me at 984-212-2168.
David and I met our freshmen year of college, and we have been together ever since.
Neiman loves football, boxing, reading, playing his PlayStation/oculus, and eating!
Nolan enjoys Pokémon, riding his scooter, basketball, boxing, gymnastics, and tennis.
Nox loves Paw Patrol, Number Blocks, jumping on the trampoline, and riding his bike.
