Over my whole life span I have come to learn that you need to try, try, and then when you feel like there is no hope you just need to try even harder. When I was younger, I got my first skateboard. I loved to skateboard; it was my favorite thing to do. The only problem occurred when I was younger, and I couldn’t get to the tops of ramps so I gave up for a while. Then one or two years passed and my dad didn’t like that I stopped and he taught me that you can’t just give up because of minor setbacks. Eventually, my mom took me to a skate park at a church called Ramp 48. I quickly started up again and wasn’t that terrible. Attending the park would help me to make a lot of friends and go on a lot of crazy adventures, like going to get food or going to stores without my parents. Now keep in mind I was very young so going to the store and getting food by myself was a huge experience for me. The more I started to skate and hang out with my friends, the more I started to realize things about life why people are the way they are. It was all a huge life journey and is still a journey, I’m just taking it one step at a time and never giving up. I also just try to remember that everything is just a small ramp and eventually I will overcome it.
