Over the summer, I went to Alabama and played for the Florida state team. The trip there was long and uneventful. We caught a flight from Florida to Georgia and then drove to Alabama. The first day, we had a game against North Carolina and won 5-0. Our team was super excited to start off on a good lead in the tournament. Then later we had an evening session with our region 3 coach. We went back to the dorms after the training session. The next day came along and we played early in the morning against Georgia. We were tied 1-1 and then at the last 10 seconds of the game our team pulled through with a win. All of us were super excited to win the game against our rivalry team. The next game was super early in the morning. We woke up at 5:30 dressed in our Florida uniforms and mentally prepared for the game. Just one more win and we would win it all! The team was a Texas and Alabama team combined. From playing their team we noticed how easy it was to just posess the ball throughout the game. From quickly catching on, we scored in the first five minutes. At the end, our team came out on top and everyone was impressed with each of our individual skill and talents we each contributed to the team. It was a great learning experience on and off the field.
