This previous summer, I went on a trip with my scout friends for almost a month. We have been many cities in Europe and also in a camp in Großzerlang, Brandenburg, Germany with many other scouts, who came from so many different countries. Our camp lasted for 10 days. This camp was called BuLa which is the short form of Bundeslager. 5000 participants and over 500 scout guides from all over the world came together to build a large tent city. This camp is organised every four years and it was very important for me because I had just one chance to participate in my whole high school years. The camp was wonderful, I have not seen that many tents and some tents were very huge. There were many different colored scout scarf, because there were many scouts, who were from different countries. We changed our spare scarves with other scouts' scarves. After the camp, we continued on to our Europe tour. My favourite city was Amsterdam because it had many different sides in the morning and in the evening. This 1 month changed me a lot. Although scouting had already impacted my life before, with this camp and tour I became stronger and more independent person. Moreover, it was an unforgettable experience, because I spent my whole one month with my friends in different countries without my parents.
