One of my passions is for the beautiful game of soccer. I began playing soccer way back in kindergarten. Before that, I had wanted to play baseball, but then I tried soccer. It was the sport my brother enjoyed most and I got hooked on it. This is meaningful because I've made many friends through soccer. It has shaped me as a person. Soccer has even taught me valuable lessons like patience. As a defender, I have to wait for the perfect moment to attack. If I go for the ball too early, then I will be easily beaten. Instead, I made until the ball is away from the attacker, or they get off balance. That way, I can get away with the ball cleanly. At first, soccer started off as a casual thing I did for fun on a recreational team. From there, I both a travel team, and the school team. I decided to stick with travel and I found the perfect team. I've been on the Boynton Knights for three years now. This season is looking like it will be our best season yet. The team is closer than ever, but still serious about playing to win.
