All of my life, I wanted to play hockey. At the age of 7, my parents gave in and let me play the game. Starting off was tough. I took skating lessons for a year trying to learn and then I joined an in house league. I started off being the worst player there but over the next year, I became good and I tried out for a travel team. There was good news and bad news. I made the team but my parents weren't willing to commit to all of the traveling. The next year, i tried out for the same team and I made it. Hockey has been a part of my life since I was little and It will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Throughout my childhood, I traveled a lot. Every year, I go skiing once or twice and I go on a summer vacation. My dad liked the idea of traveling so much that he got a pilots license for a 5 seater plane so he can take me out to breakfast in Okeechobee and it would only take us 20 minutes to get there. Traveling influenced the way I looked at the world. Recently, I have not been traveling a lot out of the state because I have hockey tournaments which take up most of my life.
This logo is the hockey team that I used to play for. I played two seasons with this team and they no longer offer a team for my age group. Feel free to check them out at:
