My passion is sports. I play volleyball and basketball. I began playing basketball when I was in second grade because I was watching my brother and joined my best friend’s practice. The summer going into sixth grade, I played volleyball at camp and loved it. When I got home, I decided to try out for the volleyball team and the rest is history. Playing both sports gives me great joy because I get to spend time with my friend and do the thing I love. Throughout the years, I have numerous friendships playing sports. For instance, one of my very close friends, Liv, became friends with me during volleyball. The past two years, I have played on the volleyball club team called SFVC (South Florida Volleyball Club) We began playing at the same time and have continued playing together ever since. While playing sports, I have learned to work as a team. As they say, “There is no I in team.” Ignorer to win we have to work together and use all our strengths. What is interesting about me, is that I am a lefty shooter in basketball, but a righty dribbler and a righty in everything else. My favorite sport would have to be basketball because I have been playing it the longest and it is the most aggressive.
