Vytalli grew up in Minot, North Dakota and graduated from Minot High in 2017. Vytalli was involved in dance and cheerleading growing up. She started dancing at the age of three and continued through her senior year of high school. Vytalli was a competitive dancer at Studio X and won many awards throughout her fifteen years involved in it including two national titles. She also taught several classes at her dance studio for 6+ years including Intro/Beginner level basics, Hip-Hop and Tap. She started cheerleading in eighth grade at Jim Hill Middle School. Vytalli was on both the Varsity Football and Varsity Hockey teams all four years of high school. She was named Captain of the Varsity Football Cheer Team her junior year and went on to be named the Hockey Bunny her senior year. While in high school, Vytalli was fortunate enough to win the NDCCA Fall State Cheer Competition all four years while on the cheer team.
Vytalli continued Cheerleading while attending classes at Minot State University. She was on the Minot State Cheer Team for three years. Vytalli graduated college May of 2022 with a degree in Physical Education and a minor in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education. Vytalli started coaching cheerleading at Minot High in 2018 as the JV Football/Basketball coach and continued in that position for three years. She went on to take over as Head Coach for Varsity Football and Basketball in 2021 -winning multiple state titles for the team at the Fall and Winter NDCCA competitions. As of 2023, Vytalli has now also taken over as the Head Varsity Hockey Coach and Program Advisor.
Shay grew up in Minot, North Dakota and graduated from Minot High School in May 2022. Shay has participated in many sports since she was young, everything from dance to soccer. She started dancing at the age of five, but switched to cheer in seventh grade at Erik Ramstad Middle School. She stuck with cheer after making friends and finding a sport that she loved. As a freshman, Shay was on the JV football and basketball cheer teams for MHS, where she competed for the first time. She moved onto varsity after that and continued through her senior year where she was awarded the 2021 football bunny/captain title. As a Minot cheerleader, Shay has won three state championships and was a grand champion at the first Best of the Midwest competition. She ended her high school cheer career with a clean sweep at the 2022 Winter State Competition. On top of cheering at MHS, she has also stayed involved in other school activities. Shay attended Minot State University while Assistant Coaching the JV Cheer team. Shay also began working as a Universal Cheer Association staff member following graduating high school. She moved into Assistant Coaching the Varsity Football and Basketball teams starting in the Fall of 2024.
Angela Vergara was born in Manila, Philippines and grew up in Minot, ND. Angela graduated in May of 2022 with extracurriculars like Cheerleading, Honor Society President, and Women Ensemble. Angela did cheerleading and dance when she was 6 years old in the Philippines, but when she moved to North Dakota, she took a break from sports. But her 22’ season she went into cheerleading because a friend of hers convinced her to try out, Angela didn’t make it her first try but with a little convincing she tried again and made the Junior Varsity Team for Basketball, but midway through the season the coaches bumped her up to Varsity for working hard and showing the Magician spirit. As a cheerleader, Angela won her 22’ Winter State Title for cheerleading with Minot High in 3 divisions. Angela was also coach for Erik Ramstad Middle School Cheer Team for the 25’ basketball season and they won the Winter State Championship for the Time Out Middle School Division. Angela is also a Title VI Aide at Erik Ramstad Middle School. After her first year of coaching in the 2025-2026 season Angela Vergara will join the Minot High Junior Varsity team as Head Coach and many more years to come.
