Academic Artifacts

This is an essay I wrote as a final for my English 102 class. The essay's focus was to take an event or idea and take a stance on it. I chose to analyze the April 8th, 2024 Solar Eclipse and chose the stance that the popularity of this event was built on commercialism and as a money-making opportunity versus as a religious or spiritual event as these events have been seen in the past.

This was another assignment that I worked on in English 102. The goal of this assignment was to conduct a rhetorical analysis of any form of media. I chose to analyze Kendrick Lamar's song "The Blacker the Berry." I chose this song in part because of who wrote it. Modern rap music typically gets discredited and shoved aside for being bland and not creative with no message. In this song and many others, Kendrick demonstrates that this stereotype is false and couldn't be further from the truth. 

This is a presentation I prepared for my Entrepreneurial Mindset course. The goal of this assignment was to partake in the art of Chindogu- creating pointless inventions. From doing this assignment, I realized how creative I could be if I tried hard enough.
