12/16/21 Reflection about my first semester as a 7th grader.
I honestly thought in-person school would be rough but in retrospect, it turned out better than I thought it would be. I met new teachers, made new friends, etc. I was able to witness the true middle school experience, which included the pros and cons of middle school. Overall, I'm slowly, but surely, adapting to a new environment I've never been in because of quarantine.
During class, we drew artwork and completed the circle investigation. I found all of these things interesting because I forgot some of the content back in 6th grade. I also personally enjoyed doing the pi skyline artwork. It was a fun way to remember the digits of pi!
My goals for Math for the remainder of the school year is to pass the finals and learn more about the rest of the subjects we are going to learn about, such as Transformations and Geometry.
