Our Team

I am a sixth grader. My favorite hobbies are drawing, playing the piano, and writing poems to myself. Some of the reasons why I joined GirlsBuild is mainly because I have always seen many people on the streets, and I always wondered “Why hasn't anyone fixed this problem?” and “Why are we doing this to each other?” Thank god for homeless shelters we can help many people, and I want to be one of those people to help someone in need. I wish that many kids like me can help this problem go away, because the homeless population has increased nearly 9% this year, and hopefully in the future people will live happily. 

I took interest in GirlsBuild because I love helping people. Not just because it makes me happy, but having people know that I’m there for them. I grew up in the Philippines for around 3 years and traveled to California and was raised mostly there. I have different hobbies, such as playing volleyball, violin, and a little bit of archery.  

I have lived in Los Angeles my whole life and if you look on the streets, (especially downtown) there is a lot of homelessness. As I've witnessed people beg for food and money on the streets, if Los Angles isn't doing anything about it, I'll try. I want to end hunger of people on the streets, give them a home and feel appreciated about where they live.

When I grow up, I want to be an author. I even have a website where I keep my stories.

My hobbies include reading, robotics, music, and eating . When I grow up, I might want to start a non-profit organization and maybe be a product manager, or work in media/technology. I am a part of GirlsBuild because I want to help others and ensure that they are getting the same opportunities as everyone else, and make sure that they are happy and safe.

I have a lot of interests and some of them include drawing and sports. My favorite hobby is drawing because I get to make something for other people to enjoy. I've traveled a lot with my family. Going to the Galapagos Islands was one of my most memorable experiences because of the exotic animals I was able to see in person. I joined Girls Build because I want to help t,he many himeless that you see on the streets. When I grow up I want to be landscape architect.

A few of my hobbies include reading, interior design, filming, theatre, and singing. I want to make a strong impact people in my lifetime. 

My hobbies are crochet, basketball, and listening to music. I joined GirlsBuild to have fun and be a part of a club. 

I enjoy reading, especially mystery and historical fiction, crafting, making jewelry, and hanging out with family. I love being in a GirlsBuild because I am able to make a difference, big or small.
