Here are some of the larger projects I've worked on!
Micah's physical artifact placed around campus, designed by Obi DiMaggio, Narrative Director.
Drawing of Micah I wrote the script for.
Drawing of Robert I wrote the script for.
Little Guy Grove was a multimedia ARG that took place on the Champlain College campus from April 7th to May 1st, 2025. Whiteboards with drawings of the Little Guys as well as physical artifacts invited potential players to our website (https://www.littleguygrove.com/) , where puzzles related to the characters needed to be solved. As more and more puzzles were solved, more information about the characters and their world was revealed. In-universe, this was in an effort to immortalize the Little Guys on the website, as they said it was easy to erase them from whiteboards. Players would follow along, solving puzzles and getting emails written in character saying if they were correct or incorrect, and notifying them as to when the site was updated. The story culminated in an additional Little Guy being revealed, whose only existence was erased from a whiteboard and effectively killed, invoking a fear of death in the others, who had not known it before.Â
I was a crucial member of the narrative team working on Little Guy Grove. The concepts for all of the characters and the overarching narrative were already created when I joined the team. However, I played a major role in developing and fleshing out all of the characters, with my biggest contributions being to the characters Robert Gaming and Micah Pesante III. Many aspects of these characters were written by me, as I was in charge of them (with three of us on the narrative team and six characters, each of us had two to prioritize and flesh out on our own) and their developments. I also came up with multiple minor details for the other characters as well as most of the names for the locations in Guy Grove (the larger area where the characters from Little Guy Grove originate, and the name of which I also came up with), including Woodsock, Filmadelphia, The Streets of Brooklyn, Sillycon Valley, and Loovruh (all of which are parodies of existing places relating to each character).
Little Guy Grove will always hold a special place in my heart. While not a video game, it was the first game that I had worked on while going to Champlain College, and it was so much fun. I love Micah like my own child (though the artist who always drew them around campus has equal custody). Go take a look at the archived website, it's such a treat.
On A Cross is a short story about two girls, Mariana and Starstud, with magical abilities who work for an agency that gives them tasks to complete with their magic. They usually are assigned to be partners together every month, until Mariana is assigned to train the new guy with a mysterious ability: Lavida. Read as the two girls learn about their relationship with one another and how Lavida affects Mariana's already rough emotional stability.
On A Cross is something I'm quite proud of, despite it's now glaring flaws that I see when I look back at it. For a while, I've had the desire to return to it and write a second draft, but I haven't had the motivation to work on it, so this is where the story is now. (Hint: It's easier to read if you open the pdf in another tab.)
By the way, the names of each part are song lyrics. Should've included credit when I wrote it but here they are.
Part 1: Ghost - Mary On A Cross
Part 2: Coldplay - Viva La Vida
Part 3: Matt Watson - STARSTUD
