I’m a registered nurse with over 40 years of experience in nephrology and co-founder of Kidney Donor Conversations, a nonprofit dedicated to providing education and support about living kidney donation.

In 2017, I donated my kidney to a stranger. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to raise awareness about living kidney donation through education, speaking engagements, and my book, Understanding Living Kidney Donation: The Best Treatment for Kidney Disease.

My goal is to make living kidney donation easier to understand and help others access the life-changing benefits of a living donor transplant.
