iBienvenidos a mi clase de español!

Welcome to my Spanish class, currently, I teach Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. This is my fourth year here at McCollum and hope for many more to come. I was born in Jalisco, México and moved to San Antonio when I was 9 years old. I grew up  most of my life here, in San Antonio, I graduated from SWISD in 2013 and attended the Alamo Colleges (Northwest Vista College), where I got my Associate of Arts in Teaching (2015). I have a Bachelors' Degree in Spanish from UTSA C/O 2018. I have a Bilingual Reading Specialist Certificate and a Teaching Engilsh as a Second Language Certificate both from UTSA. I have a Masters' Degree in Bicultural Bilingual Education from UTSA as well. Currently, I am working on my second Masters' degree from the University of Granada in Spain.
