Welcome back to the 2022-2023 school year. We are currently purchasing new books to add to the 8,000 plus books we currently have in the library, and the thousands of eBooks available through Sora and Destiny. If you are not familiar with our eBook collection, don't worry because we will be talking about them throughout the school year.

Sora is your gateway to the best selection of ebooks and audiobooks available to Terrell Wells, spanning thousands of titles from Harlandale ISD and the San Antonio Public Library. With a catalog for all interests and abilities, Sora truly offers something for all readers including pleasure reading, instructional titles, and professional development resources.
On a district device, you will need to login through your Harlandale Single-Sign-On (SSO) to access your account.
How to install Sora app on a non-district device:
Install the Sora app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or go to soraapp.com
In Sora, find our school district (or enter our setup code Harlandaletx)
Username= StudentID#
Password= First 4 of Last name (all caps) Last 4 of ss# followed by ! (eg. KULK1234!)
Click on the “hamburger” menu
Click on “Add a public library"
Search “San Antonio Public Library” and select “This is my library”
You’ll be asked to sign in again because now you’re accessing materials from the San Antonio Public Library. However, since you’ll be signing in with your Harlandale ISD login you’ll choose “Harlandale Ind School District 904” from the drop-down menu.

Destiny is Terrell Wells' online library catalog. Students and staff are able to view our physical collection, and eBooks. One useful feature is the ability to place a "Hold" on an item you want to checkout. We recently added more eBooks so login to Destiny to view our most current additions. You will need to login through your Harlandale Single-Sign-On (SSO) to access your account.

My name is John Jimenez and this is my 20th year at Terrell Wells. I began working in a library when I was a student at Our Lady of the Lake University. After college, I worked for 5 years as a Library Assistant at the San Antonio Public Library. Thereafter, I worked for Northside ISD for 3 years as a Library Assistant and 3 years as a Librarian. I started at Terrell Wells in 2001.
