Gulf Medical University: Rules and Regulations for Examinations
Students taking exams at Gulf Medical University are required to follow the rules and regulations outlined below to ensure a fair and disciplined testing environment.
1. Prohibited Items
Students are strictly prohibited from carrying any of the following items into the examination hall:
Mobile phones
Calculators
Electronic diaries
Dictionaries
Smartwatches
Water bottles
Any other electronic gadgets
If a student is found in possession of any of the above items during an online or practical/clinical examination, they will face disciplinary action, which may include suspension from the exam.
2. Assigned Seating
Students are not permitted to change their allocated seats for the online test. Please ensure you sit in the designated seat assigned to you.
3. Identification
Students must bring their valid university ID card and present it to the exam supervisors or invigilators for verification before starting the exam.
4. No Communication
It is strictly prohibited to communicate with other students during the online test. Any attempt to do so will result in disciplinary actions.
5. Leaving the Hall
Students are not allowed to leave the exam hall or visit the restroom during the online examination unless explicitly permitted by the invigilator.
6. Food and Drinks
No drinks or eatables are allowed in the examination venue during online exams.
7. Doubts During the Exam
Invigilators are not permitted to clarify doubts regarding Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) during the online exam. If you have any concerns or doubts, please fill out the form available in the testing center and submit it for review.
8. Tampering with Computer Systems
Students are not allowed to tamper with or attempt to enable/disable any functions on the computer system while taking the online test. Any such action will be considered a violation.
9. Consequences of Violating Exam Rules
Any violation of the above rules will result in serious disciplinary actions. Penalties may include disqualification from the online exam, suspension, or dismissal from Gulf Medical University.
