Instruments are available to rent from several local music retailers. All stores have different rental programs, varying from month-to-month contracts that can be cancelled at any time to leases that go towards owning an instrument. Some retailers can quickly repair instrument injuries on location with dedicated repair staff while others send instruments out for repair. Please consider the pros/cons of each rental options when choosing a provider. Most stores offer insurance programs; I highly recommend insurance especially for the larger instruments (cellos and basses).

Scholarship Instruments
Scholarship Instruments
The GFPS have a limited number of scholarship instruments and double basses available for families with financial concerns. Students accepted for a scholarship instrument must sign a use-contract with their parents that may be terminated by the teacher at any time during the year due to inadequate preparation or care.
