Senior Walk

Southwest High School seniors had the heartfelt opportunity to revisit their former schools—Southwest Middle/Elementary and Florence Elementary. As part of a cherished tradition, the seniors donned their caps and gowns and walked the familiar halls where many of their educational journeys began.
With the Southwest band playing and the school mascot leading the way, the atmosphere was filled with celebration and pride. Students, teachers, and staff lined the hallways, cheering on the soon-to-be graduates and offering high fives, smiles, and hugs.
For many seniors, the walk was a powerful and emotional experience—a bittersweet moment that brought back memories of childhood friends, favorite teachers, and the early milestones that shaped who they are today. It was a time of reflection, gratitude, and excitement for the future.
Here are a few pictures that captured this meaningful walk down memory lane.
Senior Picnic
Paulina Martinez
After completing the walk, the seniors gathered at the football felid for a picnic. There was plenty of delicious food to go around—burgers, hotdogs, chips, and desserts—plus games and lots of laughs. Everyone got into the spirit, whether they were competing in bean bag toss, playing volleyball, soccer, football, taking pictures, or signing each others yearbooks. One of the highlights of the afternoon was the raffle, where lucky winners took home fun and useful prizes.
The picnic provided a perfect ending to the day, giving everyone a chance to unwind, connect, and make lasting memories.
