Good Afternoon Pearce Patriot Families, this is Michelle Sciandra, Principal at Pearce, with updates and reminders.  Our staff had an amazing kick-off meeting yesterday and are excited to begin this year with our theme of LEAD!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Open House on August 22nd from 4:00-7:00pm.  All families should hear from their child's teacher via connect-ed tomorrow evening.  If you do not hear by then, please contact our front office on Thursday morning.  Please plan to enter Open House through the front door OR MPR entrance. We will open the doors at 4:00pm.  Inside the MPR, please visit our Parent Connect Hub, Transportation, Cafeteria, Specialists, Counselors and ACES tables. 

Please be sure to stop by the Transportation Department table to check on the status of your child's bus route.  If you plan to use the car rider line, you will receive your tag in your child's classroom.   These specific tags will need to be placed on your dashboard in order to come through the car lines.  If you need more than one tag, please request it from your child's teacher.  Carpool tags are available at the request of both families in writing.  Car tags from last year will not be accepted.

Parents of Kindergarten and 1st grade students may walk their children to the back door of the classrooms during the first week of school.  Parents of 2nd-5th grade students may be dropped off in the car rider lines or be walked to the front door by a parent.  Parents may not enter the building. Please do not park in the bus lot and walk in between cars.  Thank you for following these procedures to ensure our campus is secure.

Bus information will be available beginning Wednesday, August 21.  Parents can access their bus information using any of the tools below:

•              Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) - Parents must create an account to sign-up to receive bus assignment information, as well as locate and track the school bus.

•              PowerSchool Parent Portal - Parents can access this on our website.

•              Parents can also call the Transportation Call Center at (888) 511-4427 if any questions or concerns. The Call Center is open Monday – Friday from 6am – 9pm EST.
