This year is special to me because it is my 1st year at Acacia and my 10th year in the classroom. I began teaching in 2016 in the Bellflower Unified School District where I grew up. I came to the Fullerton School District in 2018 and have taught here ever since. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education Studies and my Multiple Subject Credential from California State University, Long Beach in 2015. I also earned a Master’s Degree in Literacy and Reading and a Literacy and Reading Specialist Credential from California State University, Fullerton in 2021. I am 1st year GATE certified and will be working towards my full GATE certification this school year.
I live in Garden Grove with my husband Tristan, our son Colton, and our 110 pound labrador Waylon. When I am not teaching, I like spending as much time with my family as possible. Our family loves all things nature so you can usually find us outside throwing the ball for the dog, chasing our barefoot toddler around as he explores, riding our bikes, heading to the beach, camping, or having a family BBQ in the backyard.
