Graduation Ceremony Practice

Dear Class of 2022,

There are three days of preparation and activities for graduation for the Class of 2022. All practices are mandatory for the members of the Class of 2022 who wish to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Monday, June 6th

Time and location: 8:30 AM in the high school auditorium.
- Enter from the flagpole parking lot, out front, by the Eagle.
Dress: Casual
Materials: Bring your Chromebook and charger to be returned
Tasks and Activities:
- Finalizing Senior slides
- Explanation of the graduation ceremony, including the procession, seating, and the recession.
- Sign-up for bus transportation to Wednesday's practice
- Instructions about other events, including the Car Parade and Baccalaureate
- Reading of names for graduation ceremony
- Chromebook and charger collection
- Yearbook distribution

Tuesday, June 7th

Time and location: 8:30 AM in the high school auditorium.
Dress: Dress for practice is business casual. We will be having our class picture taken. Students will dress the same way for practice as they will for graduation. Girls should stick to light-colored dresses/business casual attire. Boys should wear a collared shirt and tie with nice dress pants. Please wear or bring shoes for the Grad Walk.
Tasks and Activities:
- Review of the graduation ceremony
- Instructions about other events
- Distribution of caps and gowns
- Class of 2022 panoramic photo
- The Class of 2022 Grad Walk to the Junior High and Reiffton

Wednesday, June 8th

Time and location: 9:00 AM at Santander Arena.
- Graduates must be in the Santander Arena by 9:00 AM. You can transport yourself or sign-up for bus transportation from the school.
Dress: Casual
Tasks and Activities:
- Review of the graduation ceremony
- Practice for the procession, diploma distribution, and recession in the arena
