From Humble Beginnings, Come Great Things.

DSNWK/Employment Connections is devoted to providing employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities, in a nurturing environment where they are able to develop skills and self-worth in pursuit of their goals and dreams. DSNWK takes donations and stores them at Employment Connections for individuals served. Sometimes items are not in the best of shape and have to be discarded. Employment Specialist Dustin Olsen and a crew of individuals began experimenting with this furniture. The crew showcased the items they refinished at Employment Connections Annual Benefit Sale, becoming a raging success. In 2019 the crew took it to a new level and started EC Custom Creations. The crew has learned how to sand, use a nail gun, stain, paint, cut lumber, reupholster, and best of all -- figure out how to turn an old piece into a beautiful masterpiece. They have refurbished bars, table & chairs, end tables, desks, pub tables, benches, dressers, TV stands, coffee bars, and more.
