Reflection on learning

Throughout my last few weeks in computer apps and digital skills lab i have learned a number of different things to help me throughout my journey here at DIT, below are some examples of the things I've learned:

• I have learned how to complete a graph layout using excel, this includes how to add values to a many different chart types, how to create equations and solve these equations using excel and no calculator needed. How to design these charts in the way i need or want with colours, adding equations, intercept lines, how to adjust titles and also using the charts to calculate unknown values.
• I also have learned how to use the individual google apps such as docs, slides, sheets and sites etc. Before computer labs I had never heard of google sites. I found it to be a great application for individual assessment work but also because the different sections of your assessment can be build into the one site.
• I also have learned just general computer skills such as being able to insert and develop pictures or objects into a slide or even in a word document, keyboard shortcuts and quicker and in general just basic computer apps i was never aware of.
