This year, 5th grade scholars had the challenge of using the knowledge they acquired about the features of a complex society to make a a stop motion film. Students dove into content to further enrich their films with factual elements of an Aztec, Maya or Inca society.

Kids as Content Creators: Engaging Media Savvy-Students

Last year we participated on Comic Con NYC 2023. We were the first elementary school that have participated on a panel. We presented how our students are using media to enhance and showcase their learning. Through community outreach, scholars created comics books where they explained how working together, we can make our community more sustainable.
