"Bridging Cultures and Classrooms"
Grade 5 and 6 students from Tong An Elementary School and Yeoul Elementary School in Korea connect across the globe through monthly online classes and a fun, hands-on culture box exchange! Each box is filled with their favorite local snacks, small souvenirs, and personal notes—giving students a chance to taste, see, and understand each other’s cultures. This engaging activity promotes global awareness, enhances communication skills, and creates meaningful friendships beyond the classroom walls."
Indeed, one step at a time. Good job students!
Easter Celebration
Better late than never! Our dear students happily cooperated in a simple and fun Easter celebration. Grades 4, 5, and 6 patiently searched for eggs, which they exchanged for treats by speaking in English and answering the teachers' questions. Meanwhile, Grades 1, 2, and 3 eagerly competed in the bunny race and were excited to answer the teachers' questions. This activity was just one way to engage students in English class—an opportunity for them to practice their speaking, listening, reading skills, and gain more confidence.
Good job, students!
