Peer Practice
Students are assigned the same story or phonics lesson to learn. After practicing, they read to the teacher for accuracy, then help classmates who are still working on their task. This allows faster learners to stay engaged while supporting their peers.
Role Play Activities
Students act out scenarios from stories, daily routines or real-life situations. This allows them to use English naturally, practice speaking, and develop confidence in communication.
Outdoor Learning
Sometimes we take learning outside. After introducing vocabulary or phonics, students use leaves, sticks, stones, or other materials to complete specific tasks, such as spelling words. This approach allows them to learn while playing and moving.
Read Aloud
The class votes on a story to read together. We practice vocabulary and pronunciation before reading the story aloud. Students take turns reading in teams, such as boys versus girls, to provide multiple opportunities for oral practice.
Interactive Games and Activities
We also use interactive tools such as PowerPoint activities, Bamboozle, Kahoot and other online games. These activities make learning English fun, engaging, and meaningful.
