Hello! I'm Julianne Marie Meredor, born on September 4, 1996, in the vibrant city of Manila, Philippines. Growing up as the second eldest among four sisters, I was immersed in a home filled with love, laughter, and a strong sense of responsibility.
From an early age, I developed a deep passion for education—a calling that has shaped my life's journey. Inspired by playful interactions with my younger sister and the influence of my grandmother, a dedicated Psychology professor, I discovered the profound impact of teaching. Witnessing her dedication and passion for touching lives, I learned that teaching is more than a job; it's about being an example and showing diligence at all times.
I pursued my academic path at Centro Escolar University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Special Education. Guided by supportive mentors, I honed my skills and knowledge, preparing for a career dedicated to making a meaningful difference.
My journey as an educator began at Don Bosco School Manila, where I spent three fulfilling years nurturing young minds in Mathematics and English. Transitioning amidst the pandemic to Apple Tree Integrated School expanded my experience in inclusive education, catering to diverse learning needs with adaptability and dedication.
Throughout my seven years in education, I've embraced roles as an educator, mentor, and advocate, committed to fostering both academic and personal growth in my students. Now, I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to contribute my expertise at Sijhou Elementary School, focusing on enhancing English speaking and writing skills through innovative projects that benefit learners and the school community.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling to different places, exploring new cultures and cuisines, reading books across various genres, hiking in nature trails, and watching TV series that challenge my imagination. These activities not only provide me with relaxation and inspiration but also foster creativity and a sense of balance in my life. Whether it's discovering hidden gems in a new city, getting lost in a captivating story, or immersing myself in the beauty of the great outdoors, each experience enriches my perspective and fuels my passion for lifelong learning.
