Hello there!

My name is Jovanni Rafols Aniban, and I’m an experienced educator from Cebu City, Philippines, with a strong background in teaching English as a Second Language. I hold a Master of Education in English as a Second Language from the University of the Philippines Cebu, where I graduated with distinction. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Cebu Normal University, along with a Diploma in Professional Education and substantial coursework toward a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling.

I am currently working as a Foreign English Teacher at Minsheng Elementary School. Before transitioning into education, I gained valuable professional experience in marketing and coordination, recruitment and training within the retail industry, and customer service in the business process outsourcing sector. These roles helped sharpen my communication and organizational skills, which have proven essential in my teaching career.

Previously, I worked as a junior high school English teacher at Inayawan National High School in Cebu City, where I also took on the roles of English coordinator and school publication adviser. In addition, I’ve worked as an online English tutor, which has strengthened my adaptability to diverse teaching environments.

My participation in educational conferences and workshops, along with a TESOL certification, reflects my ongoing commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.
