Students completed a Halloween-themed worksheet and greeted each other with “Happy Halloween.” As a reward, they received a piece of candy and a stamp on their English passports. By participating in English activities and reading from their passports, students can collect stamps throughout the semester. Once they earn 10 stamps, they become eligible for a reward from the Office of Academic Affairs. This activity motivates students to actively engage and improve their English skills.
In addition, the first graders enjoyed a special Halloween walk around the town, proudly wearing their Halloween costumes. Along the way, they yelled a Halloween English chant in exchange for treats, bringing smiles to the local community and making English learning a fun and memorable experience.
Christmas
First graders enjoyed a coloring activity, while second graders colored and designed Christmas cards that I prepared and distributed to them. Students from third to sixth grade completed a worksheet where they asked their friends what they want for Christmas. They were encouraged to use and practice the sentence patterns provided in the worksheet to improve their communication skills.
