I am Crislin Jakosalem Alo, an elementary teacher from the beautiful island of the Philippines, Cebu. I was a Grade 5 adviser in a private school in my home country before. Additionally, I was in the English language school for more than five years, which shaped me more to be a competent teacher and understand the diversity of learners.
As a teacher, I have seen many different learning environments. These experiences helped me understand that every child learns in their own way, and as teachers, we need to adjust and grow with them.
Teaching is not just about lessons from books, but also about helping students become better people. It’s important to create a classroom where children feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
In life, I value patience, kindness, and hard work. I believe that challenges help us become better, and each day is a chance to grow and improve. Teaching is my way of serving others and making a positive impact on the future.
My goal is to continue learning and to always give my best—for my students, my school, and my community.
